Shop worry-free while you’re abroad as you get zero currency exchange fees when you swipe the JumpStart debit card-i. Want a quick cash withdrawal? No problem, you get free overseas ATM withdrawals too, which means you don't have to pay the RM12 fee levied by Standard Chartered Malaysia. But please note that this ATM withdrawal waiver doesn't cover any charges imposed by overseas banks or third parties.
In addition to that, you also get rewarded with 5% cashback on online spending (local and international) whenever you deposit RM3,000 minimum of fresh funds every month into your account. Your JumpStart account must also be active to enjoy this perk.
The cashback is capped at up to RM50 per month with terms and conditions applied. Note that e-wallet reloads, petrol and insurance/takaful transactions are excluded from the cashback reward.

How much is the profit rate?
With Standard Chartered JumpStart Savings Account-i, you get 0.05% profit regardless of your account balance, unlike other savings accounts that typically adopt a tiered profit system.
Additionally, if you deposit a minimum of RM3,000 fresh funds monthly, you can enjoy free MEPS ATM withdrawals nationwide at the end of every calendar month!

You can enjoy 2x complimentary access to participating Plaza Premium Lounge in Malaysia and abroad. Simply maintain your account balance with at least RM100,000 during the month you enter the participating airport lounge and the following month after the access to enjoy this perk.
However, note that you must pay upfront on the lounge access fee with your JumpStart debit card-i. The fee will be refunded to you 2 months after the lounge visit with up to RM150 eligible refund per visit.

What’s the eligibility to open this account?
Any Malaysian, permanent resident or foreigner of at least 18 years of age is eligible for this savings account-i. No minimum deposit is required to open an account. Other fees include the following:
- Annual debit card fee: RM8
- Early account closure (within 3 months): RM20
- Paper statement (if required): RM2
