More Information

What is this Motorcycle Insurance all about?

There aren’t as many options for motorcycle insurance and therefore RHB Insurance Berhad is here to fill in the gaps for those of you who prefer to be single riders rather than drive a car. The policy comes with 24/h roadside assistance and towing up to RM50, so you know that RHB always has your back.

What does the policy cover?

Since this is a third-party cover, the policy will offer protection to the third party or victim of any accident you caused. Sometimes these accidents are simply unavoidable and rather than compensate the other party out of your own pocket, have the insurance plan take care of it.

You will have coverage for third party bodily injury and loss or damage of property. Both towards the person you hit and any pedestrians affected by the incident. Or if in fact you caused an accident that did not involve people, the coverage will go towards the damage of any public property.

How do the premiums work?

There are now several factors that insurers take into consideration for the calculation of your insurance premiums. It is called a risk assessment and will include certain details pertaining to the driver as well as the car details.;

  • The value of your vehicle
  • Engine capacity
  • Loading
  • Sum insured
  • Age of the Rider/Driver
  • Gender
  • Occupation/Education
  • Place of residence
  • Claim history

The principal being applied is that the lower the risk, the lower your premiums rates.
