What are the fees and charges I need to take care of?
The half-yearly service charge is RM10, however the exemptions apply to the government account, staff account, government schools as well as the charitable and religious bodies.
If you plan to close the account, make sure it is over 6 months from the opening date, the service charge is RM30 otherwise. Ad hoc statement request will cost you RM2 per page.
After you apply for the cheque book, do remember to collect it because uncollected cheque book at branch after 14 days will cost you RM5. Adding to that, you can request to courier the cheque book at RM5 per book for your convenience.
