How does Alliance Hybrid Account work?
This is an Islamic current account offering high dividend rates for individuals only. It works similar to a savings account whereby you can tuck away your money in a trusted hand of a bank, and let it works hard for you.
Every month, regardless of your account balance, you will get rewarded with profit rate. Plus, you can also withdraw cash whenever you need it, pay bills via Standing Instruction and write cheques to clients.
What do I get upon opening of this current account opening?
First of all, you will get access to Alliance Bank's banking services from cash withdrawal, fund transfer, bill payment, promotions etc. To enjoy all these, you will be issued with an Alliance Bank Debit MasterCard and online banking account ID.
You can manage cash flow and keep track of your past transactions via monthly statement, which is easily retrieved via allianceone online banking and also Phone Banking.
That's not all, you can link your Alliance Bank credit card to your current account for the purpose of loan / credit card payment.
A cheque book will also be made available to you for your daily banking transactions, should you request one.
Who can apply for this Islamic current account?
Individuals aged 18 years and above can open this current account. To open an Alliance Hybrid Account, you do not need an introducer, just standby RM250 as an initial deposit and bring along your personal and income documents upon registration.
If you want to enjoy the convenience of cheque book facility, a minimum of RM1,000 initial deposit is required.
What are the fees and charges I should know?
These are few but significant fees and charges you should be aware of:
- Half yearly Service Charge: RM15, if average balance fall below RM1,000
- Early Account Closure: RM20, if closed within 3 months of opening
- Debit Card Issuance and Annual Fee: RM12
- Cheque Processing Fee: RM0.50 per leaf, plus RM0.15 Stamp Duty
- Dishonoured Cheque: RM100, due to insufficient funds
- Stop Payment Cheque: RM15, upon instruction
