What Are the Required Documents to Apply for This Debit Card?

  • Your original Identity Card (MyKad) (for Malaysians) or Passport and relevant permit (for Permanent Residents).
  • Completed Account Application Form.
  • The Initial Deposit of RM20.

What Are the Fees That I Need To

  • Account Service Fees:
    • Annual Service Fee (Dormancy): RM10.00 will be levied annually if the balance is more than RM10.00 in a Dormant Account.
    • Early Account Closure: RM30.00 if the account is closed within 6 months of opening.
  • Transaction Fees:
    • Withdrawal Fee (AFFIN ATM): Free (at AFFINBANK and AFFIN ISLAMIC ATMs).
    • Withdrawal Fee (Other Banks/MEPS): RM1.00 per withdrawal/transaction (at Local MEPS member bank ATMs).
    • Ad Hoc Statements requests: Flat charge of RM10.00.
  • Other Fees (If Applicable):
    • Lost Savings Account Passbook: RM20.00 (This is a general Savings Account fee, though the eSaver is typically paperless).
    • MEPS Instant Transfer (IBFT) via ATM: RM0.50 for transfers from RM5,000.01 up to RM50,000 (transfers up to RM5,000 are waived).
