Who Can Apply For This Debit Card?
Customers who have an account with Bank Islam are eligible to apply, subject to age:
- Aged 12 years and above with a Savings Account.
- Aged 18 years and above with a Current Account or transactional Investment Account.
- Joint accounts are eligible only if the account mandates include "either to sign."
What Are The Required Documents To Apply for This Debit Card?
- A valid Bank Account (Savings, Current, or Investment) that will be linked to the card.
- Identification Document (e.g., NRIC or Passport) required for account opening and card issuance.
What Are The Fees That I Need to Pay?
- Issuance Fee: RM12.00 (RM2 is contributed to FAM).
- Annual Fee (Subsequent Years): RM13.00 per annum (RM2 is contributed to FAM).
- Annual Fee (First Year): Waived (not charged in the same year the card is issued).
- Replacement Fee (Lost/Stolen/Damaged): RM12.00 per card (RM2 is contributed to FAM).
- Cash Withdrawal at Bank Islam ATM: Free.
- Cash Withdrawal at MEPS ATM (Local Bank): RM1.00 per withdrawal.
- Cash Withdrawal at VISA Plus ATM: RM10.00 per withdrawal.
- Tabung Haji Transaction Fee (Withdrawal/Deposit): RM1.00 per transaction at Bank Islam ATM.
