What is this product about?
In a nutshell, RHB Smart Instalment allows you to save on your interest charges and spread your payment over the monthly instalments. All you need to do is make a minimum purchase of RM500 at over 800 participating merchants and request conversion at the checkout.
There is no application required and no fee will be charged for this easy payment plan. Plus, you can max out your credit card as the conversion applies to transactions of up to 100% of your credit limit.
How much is the interest?
Believe it or not, this instalment plan charges you 0% interest on the amount of conversion you make regardless of your borrowing period, whether 6, 12, 24 or 36 months.
The only condition that comes with RHB's instalment payment plan is that you pay your bill on time every time and in full. Being late on payments will incur the 18% p.a. interest that you are trying to avoid.
