What are the highlights of AIA A-Plus Multi Critical Care?
Many people suffer from disease relapse such as cancer or a heart attack when the least expect it! With the A-Plus Multi Critical Care rider, you will have continuous coverage even after a claim is made.
You can make up to 3 critical illness claims for all 36 major illnesses - 100% of your rider sum assured is payable for each claim.
Care to explain how the multiple claims work?
Okay, only 1 claim is payable under each illness group, excluding cancer.
For Cancer, you can claim for up to 2 times, subject to a maximum of 3 claims. 125% of your basic sum assured is payable for each Cancer claim.
But be aware that your second diagnosis must occur at least 5 years after the first claim, and cannot be the same type of Cancer.
How old must I be to apply for this critical illness benefit?
This AIA critical illness rider is available to those at least 14 days to 60 years of age. You can be covered up to the age of 85 or expiry of your insurance plan, whichever is earlier.
