Who is eligible to sign up for Prudential's Early Crisis Protector?
This critical illness policy is catered to those who are concerned with having protection as soon as they are early signs of a major disease. You will need to purchase both Crisis Defender and Early Crisis Protector together to get maximum coverage with Prudential. Those who are between the ages of 19 and 70 years old, you will be eligible to sign up.
What determines the amount of premium I have to pay?
There are three things to be concerned with when deciding your premium amount - your age, gender, and status as a smoker. As long as you are ensured with the Prudential Early Crisis Protector, you will have to continue to pay premiums until the end of your policy term. You can pay for your premiums by auto debit, credit card, cash or by writing a cheque.
How much can I be assured?
Depending on your medical condition, the minimum sum you can be assured for falls between RM10,000 up to RM200,000.
What Term Life Insurance can I supplement this policy with?
You will not be able to attach this optional benefit with a Term Life Insurance. However, you can opt for an investment-linked policy to ride together with the Early Crisis Protector and Crisis Defender to earn profit while keeping yourself protected at the same time. This additional savings can again be used for future emergencies.
Am I allowed to make multiple claims for the same illness?
Yes, you will be able to make multiple claims, as long as it is for a higher severity within the same illness category, or a new claim for a different illness. Of course, the amount you wish to claim will have to be within your sum assured limit. To be completely clear, Prudential will NOT pay for subsequent claims of the same or lower severity within the same illness class.
