What does the Prudential PRUlady have to offer?
Prudential recognises that women sometimes face unique health challenges and as such, offers an exclusive critical illness policy just for them. By planning for any uncertainties that lie ahead, you can, at the very least, lessen the financial impact arising from a range of female illnesses, pregnancy complications, child hereditary illnesses and even death or disability up to the expiry age of 70 years old.
What are the other benefits offered from PRUlady?
Critical illness aside, this policy also provides coverage for certain 'life changing' events up to a maximum of 9% of the sum assured. This includes coverage for buying a property, marriage, childbirth and retirement.
In terms of Sum Assured, 100% covers female-related illnesses and 50% for female Carcinoma-in-situ. The Sum Assured bounces back to 100% after 6 months from diagnosis date of female Carcinoma-in-situ.
In addition to this, this policy allows you to get all your money back on the premiums you've paid when it reaches maturity!
Is this a Shariah-compliant plan?
No, unfortunately this policy is NOT a Shariah-compliant critical-illness plan.
Who is eligible to take up this plan?
Females aged between 17 to 45 years old are eligible to sign up for this plan. No males allowed!
How much can I be insured for?
The sum assured or face amount will vary depending on the plan chosen which ranges from RM25000 to RM100000. Naturally, the higher the sum assured, the costlier your premium every year.
How much premium do I have to pay?
The amount of cash you have to fork out may vary by age and type of plan chosen, subject to underwriting by Prudential. Be sure to inform Prudential regarding any change in occupation, hobbies or sports activities because it may affect the premiums, terms, conditions and benefits offered.
The premiums can be paid monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly via auto debit, credit card, cash or cheque.
