How much does it cover?
Aside from all regular hospital expenses like room and board, the use of hospital and surgical equipment, this policy also looks after a number of medical expenses.
So you will not have to worry about charges pertaining to surgery and medication or even the use of an ambulance for transportation as they will all be covered and for the most part, repaid in full.
The policy also offers outpatient care in certain instances.
You will be covered for physiotherapy treatment, as well as accident and emergency treatment within 31 days from your date of discharge.
Over and above that you will have additional limits over your annual limit for kidney dialysis treatment, cancer treatment, accidental death and emergency medical evacuation and repatriation.

Parents who want to purchase the policy for their kids can do so as soon as they are more than 15 days old.
The maximum entry age for this plan is 59 years old. If you are a policyholder before then, you can extend the policy renewals till the age of 100.
