What am I covered against?
Similar to other medical insurance plans, the Allianz insurance offers you coverage for hospitalisation and surgical care, along with other medical charges.
You will also have coverage for pre-hospitalisation, in terms of consultations and diagnostic tests, as well as post- hospitalisation, should you need any after care.
The medical card policy also covers out-patient care for cancer, kidney dialysis and dengue or enteric fever.
Since this is also a diabetes-specific insurance plan, the plan also provides diabetes management benefits.
Once a year, you will have access to a health screening benefit, claimable up to RM250, for the following tests;
- Medical examination by a Doctor
- Glycated Haemoglobin (HbA1c)
- Urine FEME
