What is a Generali Multi Medical-Protector medical card?
Generali Multi Medical-Protector is a multi-function comprehensive medical insurance policy to make sure that you are financially prepared for most medical situations you might find yourself in.
The medical card has been specially tailor-made to support Hospital and Surgical costs regardless of the degree of the surgery, major or minor.
The plan will come with a medical card to provide you with easy access and admissions at any one of the Generali panel hospitals.
How much does the medical insurance cover then?
First off, this medical insurance policy comes with 5 plans for you to choose from, each with its range of coverage and premiums.

Like most health insurance plans, the Generali medical card gives you coverage for in-patient treatment which usually entails the fees for hospital room and board, use of hospital services and equipment, surgical fees and such.
Above that, the policy covers selected outpatient treatments as well. It will cover all pre-hospitalization charges for specialist consultation and diagnostic tests that might have been done.
The Generali Multi Medical-Protector policy will also look after any post-hospitalization treatment you need within 90 days of your discharge.

Parents who are thinking of purchasing this policy need to keep in mind that any children included under the policy need to be more than 15 days old.
The coverage for this policy only ends when you turn 101 in age.
Can I get this medical insurance as a family plan?
Yes! You should purchase this medical insurance policy as a family. The requirement is that you have 4 or more members of your family to be eligible.
With your family policy, you will get a discount of 15% on the total amount of premiums you have to pay.
What if I wanted to cancel my Generali Multi Medical-Protector policy?
Any cancellations made are entirely your choice.
However, do take note that there is a cooling period of 15 days after you receive the Generali Multi Medical-Protector policy and every time you renew it.
It is only in these 15 days that should you cancel your medical insurance, you will be refunded for most of your premiums paid.
