To make a medical insurance claim from Kurnia you will first need to be admitted at a Kurnia Insurance Panel Hospital, check out the ones closets to you here, alternatively you can always call their 24-Hour helpline at 03-7876 9988.
Simply present your medical card at the counter for a quick admission, if you do not have a medical card, or opted for a policy without one, then you can request for a Guaranteed Letter (GL) be sent. You may be asked to pay a deposit for admissions, it will vary according to the hospital you are at. If you have visited a Kurnia Panel Hospital, and with a medical card you will not have to worry about any money being spent, as Kurnia will cover you from the get go. You will only be required to make a payment, if you have exceeded any coverage limits or incurred any non-covered expenses,
However if you choose to go to a hospital outside of the panel list, you will need to send Kurnia a written notification within 30 days of the admission. Download and complete the claim form and put together a list of the following documents;
- Original itemised bills and receipts
- Complete Claim Form
- Completed Physician's Medical Report
- A Copy of your NRIC
- Original Bank Statements or Credit Card statements
For all the services covered by Kurnia you will receive an offer letter and a discharge voucher on the amount payable. Get the discharge letter signed and delivered back to Kurnia for your claims to be released.
