How much you can claim for hospital bills

How to Claim

A good medical card gives you a hassle-free admission process. Here are some tips for a smooth and cashless admission with Manulife:

  • Visit your preferred Manulife's panel hospital or one that is nearest to you
  • If you are required to be hospitalised, just flash your e-medical card via ManuMed App to the hospital attendant

In case of reimbursement request via manual claim submission:

  • Download and fill in the claim form
  • Attach the original medical receipts and medical report as supporting documents along with the completed claim form
  • Submit them to any Manulife Branch
  • Or you could mail it directly to Manulife head office at:

What is Manulife ManuEZ-Med?

ManuEZ-Med is a low premium, comprehensive and affordable medical insurance plan that covers your hospitalisation and surgical needs. The plan can cover anyone from the age of 17 to 45 and it is renewable up to age of 99. 

There are two main plans to choose from: the Platinum and the Gold plan. With comprehensive benefits, attractive rates, easy online process and no medical check-up, this is the plan for everyone!

What else is offered with this medical card?

This plan provides coverage for pre and post hospitalisation expenses such as diagnostic tests, lab fees, the hospital room charge, surgical fees, and specialist consultation among others. If you choose the Platinum plan, the Annual Limit will be RM250,000 with a Lifetime Limit of RM2,500,000. 

In terms of outpatient benefit, this plan also covers Kidney-Dialysis Treatment, Cancer Care and Dengue Treatment. Not the least, treatment in both Malaysia and overseas are covered, subject to terms and conditions.

Will my premium increase in the future and how often do I need to make payment for this policy?

The premium amount payable may increase as you get older.

Take note that all subsequent premiums payable will be automatically charged from the authorized debit card or credit card, based on the selected payment mode (monthly or annually).

Can anyone apply for this medical card?

Manulife medical card is open for registration to all Malaysians between the age of 17 and 45 years old (on your next birthday). After which you can continue to renew the plan to a maximum age of 99, which is the coverage expiry age.

Am I covered outside Malaysia?

Manulife ManuEZ-Med will cover you across the world for emergency medical assistance and hospitalisation. Bear in mind that when you're outside of Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei, your coverage will not be applicable if you reside abroad for more than 90 consecutive days.
