How much you can claim for hospital bills

How to Claim

A good medical card gives you a hassle-free admission process. Here are some tips for a smooth and cashless admission with Manulife:

  • Visit your preferred Manulife's panel hospital or one that is nearest to you
  • If you are required to be hospitalised, present your medical card to the hospital attendant

In case of reimbursement request via manual claim submission:

  • Download and fill in the claim form
  • Attach the original medical receipts and medical report as supporting documents along with the completed claim form
  • Submit them to any Manulife Branch
  • Or you could mail it directly to Manulife head office at:

What is Manulife ManuEZ-Med?

ManuEZ-Med is a low premium, straight laced medical coverage plan that offers you protection for hospitalisation and surgical needs when you need it. The plan can cover anyone from the age of 17 to 99 and does not discriminate on age or gender. With its affordable premium rates, there is a plan for everyone. 

There are two main plans to choose from the Platinum and the Gold Plan, it is up to you to decide which plan suits you best and appeals to you more.

What else is offered with this medical card?

This plan covers you for both Hospitalisation and Surgical Fees, which means you have the option to get up to RM250 allowance per day for a hospital room and you can claim the amount for your surgical fees within the annual limit. In the case that you do require surgery then you also have coverage for any pre-hospitalisation tests, such as diagnostic tests, Lab fees and Specialist Consultation. You will also have coverage for post-hospitalisation treatments and selected out-patient care if required after your surgery. 

Speaking of out-patient care, this plan allows coverage for Kidney-Dialysis Treatment, Cancer Care and Dengue Treatment as part of its out-patient care programmes. It also covers you for Day Surgery and Emergency Accidental Injury both in Malaysia and overseas.

Based on the plan that you select, there is an Overall Annual Limit for coverage at RM250,000 and a Lifetime Limit of RM2,500,000.

Can anyone apply?

The plan is open for registration to all Malaysians between the age of 17 and 45 years old (on your next birthday). After which you can continue to renew the plan to a maximum age of 99 with the final year for renewal 99 years old on your next birthday. 

Am I covered outside Malaysia?

Manulife ManuEZ-Medwill cover you across the world for emergency medical assistance and hospitalisation. Bear in mind that when you're outside of Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei, your coverage will not be applicable if you reside abroad for more than 90 consecutive days.
