More Information

Tell me about Pacific Medi-Care Medical Card

Medi-Care is one of the many medical insurance plans offered by Pacific Insurance.

The medical insurance policy will provide substantial financial backing for any medical-related emergency you might have or incurred.

With 5 plans to choose from, you will get the financial security you need while at the same time maintaining your budget.

It is an annually renewable medical card policy and can be extended to the age of 70.

What does the medical insurance plan cover?

Well of course due to the nature of this medical insurance policy it will cover all medical and hospital-related charges pertaining to inpatient treatment.

Things like room and board, use of hospital supplies and services, surgical fees and physician visits will all come under the plan coverage.

Aside from the inpatient benefits, this policy also offers coverage for some outpatient benefits as well, mostly for cancer treatment, kidney dialysis treatment, and organ transplants.

In addition to that, the Pacific Insurance medical card has got you covered for home nursing care, emergency accidental outpatient treatment, and accidental death should it come to that.

With a medical insurance like this, you can rest assured that when traveling overseas this plan will keep you covered as well.

With the exception of Singapore and Brunei, any country you travel to will be within the range of Pacific Insurance, therefore you can seek medical attention and care should you need it.

What are the other benefits of this Pacific insurance?

Besides being able to offer you a financial cushion this Pacific insurance also offers you high limits and in some cases, double the coverage.

Following up on overseas medical protection, if you do require medical attention overseas, Pacific Insurance will pay double the limit on treatment costs giving you more room to wiggle.

Also, you will receive a medical card with the policy.

This way you can be sure that whenever you need medical care, especially in a state of emergency, you just need to flash your card at the admission desk and let the rest fall into place.

Am I eligible for Pacific Medi-Care Medical Card?

If you are an individual between 19 and 65 then you are most definitely eligible for the Pacific Medi-Care medical card.

Parents and families can also purchase this medical insurance and provide coverage for their children as well.

All children will need to be between 30 days and 19 years old to be included under the umbrella of this Pacific insurance protection.

However, if your child is still a full-time student pursuing their higher education then the policy can be extended till they turn 23.
