How to Claim

Hate going through complicated procedure whenever you're requesting for a reimbursement? Not anymore with Prudential's hassle-free claim process!

Panel Hospital

Prudential's medical card is the key to your speedy admission. Show it to the hospital attendant upon hospitalisation and you'll only be required to sign a Declaration & Authorisation form.

Forget to bring your medical card? No problem, giving them your IC number is equally sufficient.

Next, put a deposit upfront to provide for non-medical related items fees only if the hospital requests for it.That's all to get you admitted, pretty simple huh!

Upon discharge, check your bill and sign on it after you've paid the charges that are out of your policy's coverage.

Non-Panel Hospital

In this case, you need to pay the medical bills first and claim for reimbursement. Fret not, it can be done in just a few simple extra steps.

You have three options to get a claim form from Prudential:

  1. Through your servicing agent
  2. Contact their customer service at 02 21160228
  3. or send an email to

Get ready the necessary documents such as original bills, original receipt and medical report and attach it with your completed claim form.

Deliver them to your nearest Prudential branch or pass it to your agent.

That's it! Your whole claim process is done and Prudential will notify you of the result.

Frequently Asked Questions about Prudential PRUhealth

Things you might want to know

What is Prudential PRUhealth all about?

PRUheath is a medical insurance rider that literally rewards you for being healthy and pays your bills when you're not, including when you've fallen ill while overseas.

This is a health plan that'll give you an annual bonus of RM500 when you don't make any claims for the year - which is definitely a boon to your income savings!

You'll also be given the freedom and flexibility to waive your annual coverage limit by complimenting your Prudential PRUHeath with the PRUannual limit waiver rider - only available for PRUhealth 200, 300, and 400 plans.

Tell me more about the no-claims bonus?

Your yearly bonuses will be automatically credited into  the investment funds of your choice. Your no-claims bonus increases your investment value throughout your policy period.

Not too sure about these kinds of investments? Not to worry, in the event of a medical need, you can always withdraw - it's as good as cash!

Will my coverage increase throughout my policy term?

Absolutely! Your PRUhealth coverage limit will be leveled-up once you've hit the 5th and 10th year of your rider no matter your health condition and any previous medical claims you've made before.

What other benefits can I get with the Prudential PRUhealth?

In addition to comprehensive coverage for expensive hospital and surgical bills under your PRUhealthplan, you now have the convenience of seeking overseas medical treatment for 5 types of covered conditions in Singapore, Hong Kong, and China with PRUmedicoverseas.

Do I need to pay co-insurance or deductible?

You can upgrade your overall medical coverage when you attach the PRUhealth rider with either RM3,000 or RM10,000 deductible. If you attach your policy with the PRUmedic retirement benefit, your deductible amount will be switched to a co-insurance arrangement when you reach the age of 55.

How will this help with your retirement plans? Not only will it make your premium payments more affordable, it also gives you added health coverage when you need it the most - your golden years.

Who can apply for this medical plan?

Anyone between the ages of 1 to  70 years are welcomed to apply for the Prudentail PRUhealth. However, before you take up PRUhealth, you must be a member of PRUlink or PRUmy child policy.

When will my insurance policy expire?

You have two choices - you can either have complete protection until you reach 80, or if you'd like, extend that coverage until you reach the ripe old age of 100!

Can I review my policy first before committing to it?

Yes, you sure can! After the delivery of your policy, you have 15 days to review your policy to check whether they suit your needs. Should you change your mind during this 15-day period, all charges and fees that you have paid will be refunded.
