More Information

Tell me more about QBE MEDI Plus Cover

The QBE MEDI Plus Cover is as the name suggests a comprehensive medical insurance protection plan made to be both affordable and offering first-class care.

With this policy, you will have access to the best hospitals and care facilities QBE has to offer.

How much does this medical insurance cover?

Like any medical insurance policy, you will have coverage for medical expenses, room and board as well as a high annual limit benefit.

However, you will also have coverage for the use of hospital services, supplies, equipment, intensive care facilities, specialist consultation, surgical fees and the list goes on.

Of course, there is a slightly more comprehensive list in the coverage section above. Rest assured you won’t have to worry about seeking outpatient care with this policy.

You will be offered it as and when you need it, especially in the case of kidney dialysis treatment and cancer care.

Another perk is that this medical insurance also has great coverage for home nursing care and post-hospitalisation treatment, should your recovery extend to a time after your discharge and you are in need of additional care.

What about the premiums?

Premiums for this QBE insurance policy will be calculated according to a myriad of factors, the basics of which pertain to your age and gender, but will also include your social status and income.

If you choose to apply for this policy, you will need to have a sit down with an insurance agent from QBE to discuss the plan that you want and what will work best for you.

Can I cancel my QBE MEDI Plus Cover policy?

Yes, you can cancel your QBE MEDI Plus Cover policy.

However, you must do so within the 15-day cooling period if you want to get your premiums back.

Any cancellations after that will not have a guarantee for a full refund.
