Do I need to have a medical examination before purchasing the policy?
It has not been explicitly requested that you undergo a pre-entry medical exam.
That being said, it might be entirely possible that depending on your age upon registration, you will be asked to go for one.
How does the deductible work?
The MediSupreme comes with two coverage options in terms of premium.
The cashless admission option is where you pay your whole premium upfront and receive a medical card from RHB Insurance.
This way, you need not produce any case upon payment for any sort of medical care as per the benefits.
On the other hand, there is the option of joining the deductible programme, where you can opt to pay a fraction of the annual premium.
However, depending on your plan, and how much medical attention you require, you as the policyholder will need to pay for the first RM5,000 to RM100,000 of your costs.
After which you can claim from the policy.
