Familiarise yourself with Tokio Marine's comprehensive yet simple claim process before an emergency strikes.

Tokio Marine needs to know the nature of your claim and details of the event such as policy number, name of hospital, date of admission and diagnosis received before you submit any documents to them. Call their claims hotline at 03 2783 8383 to notify them. 

If you prefer to put it in writing, you can send an email to [email protected] or fill in the online enquiry form.

Get a claim form and fill it out with accurate information; have the second part of the form completed by your attending doctor.

Next, prepare the following documents, which are necessary to prove the validity of your claim:

• Medical report
• Original itemised bill
• Original receipt
• Referral letter for pre-hospitalisation test and consultation, if any

Once everything is in order, deliver them along with the completed claim form to any of the strategically located Tokio Marine branches. They will take it from here and will notify you of the result in no time.

What’s so special about Tokio Marine Premier MedicPartner Medical Card?

Tokio Marine Premier MedicPartner is a specially designed medical insurance to ensure that you have protection in any situation. 

With four different plans to choose from, you will not fall short of choices that offer the protection you want at the prices you need.

Who can apply for this Tokio Marine insurance?

The Tokio Marine insurance applies to anyone. So, as an individual, you can pick up this policy from the age of 18 onwards. 

The maximum age for you to get this medical card is 65 years old. After which you can renew it up to the age of 100.

For families or parents who would like to purchase the policy for their kids, your child will need to be over 30 days of age to be eligible. 

Also, they can remain under the umbrella of the policy until they are either 18 or 23 and still studying.

Does Tokio Marine Malaysia cover me when I'm overseas?

There are some things that you are covered for overseas, but it will vary depending on you as an individual and your medical condition.

What does this medical insurance cover?

Well, this medical insurance takes care of most medical expenses and hospital expenses. You will be covered in the event you require surgery and emergency medical assistance.

On top of that, should you need outpatient care for dialysis, cancer or even physiotherapy, then the policy has got your back.

Tokio Marine Premier MedicPartner Medical Card refund policy

If you no longer need the protection or would like to sign up for a different Tokio Marine insurance, there is a 15-day cooling period in which you can cancel your plan and get refunded for your premiums paid. 

Please be noted that this is 15-days after signing up or making a renewal.

However, if you choose to cancel your Tokio Marine Premier MedicPartner Medical Card in the middle of your coverage period, there is no guarantee that you will be reimbursed fully for your premiums paid.
