Getting bedridden in a hospital is already depressing enough, you would never want to be hit by another wave of tragedy where you find yourself financially incapable of settling the medical bills at the end of the day. This is where Zurich Omni Health comes to the rescue!

Medical treatment and services such as Room and Board, anaesthetist, diagnostic test prior to hospitalisation, intensive care unit, surgery, out-patient treatment and many others do not come cheap at all. This medical insurance covers them all up to your policy's lifetime limit so you can concentrate on getting recovered.

Are there any special benefits that this insurance offer?

Certainly, Zurich Omni Health is more than just an ordinary medical insurance. Other than the extensive protection it provides, you can also enjoy 10% cash back on the premiums paid in the preceding year upon renewal if no claims have been made.

Zurich does not treat a person with health issues any differently from the others but gives extra attention and support to those who are in need. Z Wellness Care programmed is specially designed to improve your health condition by giving professional guidance and regular assessments. You will be placed under this programme if you have health diseases such as high cholesterol or obesity at the point of application.

The most interesting part is if you successfully get rid of your diseases or at least bring them down to a level that meet their requirements at the end of the programme, Zurich will give you a massive discount on your premium as a reward!

How many plans are there in Zurich Omni Health?

You have the flexibility to choose from 3 different plans, being Silver, Gold and Platinum depending on your budget. They share the same coverage, what makes them different is the amount covered for each benefit.

What is co-insurance and does it apply for this medical insurance?

Co-insurance basically means your share of cost of the claims made. Simply put, it is the portion of medical fees claimed that you have to pay out of your pocket before the insurer could cover the rest.

Yes, Co-insurance of 10% is levied on your total medical expenses and the maximum chargeable amount is RM2000. But hey, on the bright side is it's not applicable to all benefits.
