For Maxis Fibre Internet 10Mbps users, there's an unlimited data quota every month. Surf the internet all you like and stream all the movies that you have been wanting to watch!
This is part of the Fair Usage Policy to ensure that all subscribers will get to enjoy a similar internet experience by limiting over-usage and hogging of bandwidth.
Are there any installation or upfront fees?
There is no upfront fee required. Standard installation fee RM200 is waived for now until further notice.
What equipment do I get once I subscribe to this service?
Once you have subscribed, you will receive a residential WiFi modem, welcome kit as well as free RM30 call credit to all local fixed and mobile numbers or international numbers. Unlimited free calls to Maxis Fixed lines.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan? How much?
Yes, you can upgrade your package without additional charge. You can also downgrade your plan, however, a RM50 charge will be imposed. The great thing is, your contract term will continue and will not restart back to square one.
What if I move homes within my contract period? Any relocation fees?
First, you need to provide documented proof of your new house address.
If your new location is within Maxis' coverage area, their contractors will help re-locate the service for you at a fee of RM200, which is waived until further notice. Please note that your contract will be restarted for another 24 months.
If service unavailable in your new location, your penalty fee will be waived. If you unable to provide proof of your new address and still bound with for original contract, a penalty fee will be incurred for early termination on your final bill.
Can I terminate the service within the contact period?
Yes, you need to walk-in to any Maxis Centre. RM500 penalty is applicable when you terminate the service within the standard 24-months contract period.
