Time Home Internet Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
- How do I check if Time Fibre is available in my area?
There’s a dedicated search page to check your coverage. If your area is not within the coverage area, you can reach out to Time or ask your building management to contact them via Live Chat.
- What is the installation process like?
Fibre installation depends on your housing type. If pre-laid fibre exists, the installer simply connects the router to the existing socket. If not, they'll need to pull the cable from outside, requiring more extensive cabling through floors or ceilings to reach the router.
- Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?
Yes, you can. Just hop onto the Self Care portal and head to Manage Plan. You can grab some free speed boosts. However, the details on those might change. Thinking of lowering your plan? On 24-month plans, downgrades are allowed from month 7, but it resets the contract for 24 months. 12-month plans require completing the full term before downgrading.
- What kind of router will I receive?
The router provided aligns with the internet speed selected. The 200 Mbps plan includes a WiFi 6 router. Upgrading to the 600 Mbps or 1 Gbps plans provides a WiFi 7 router. The 2 Gbps plan is accompanied by a high-performance WiFi router.
- What if I move to a new house?
Don't forget your devices when you’re moving! Just make sure your new place is in Time’s coverage area. Relocations are for subscribers on 12 or 24-month contracts. In-home moves cost RM80, and moving to a different unit or building is RM120.
- What do I get if I register for Auto Debit?
According to Time, when you register for Auto Debit, you’ll receive a monthly RM2 rebate off your bills. If you prefer peace of mind without the hassle of keeping up with your monthly recurring fees, Auto Debit is the best option for you!
- How do I register for Auto Debit?
