Unlimited mobile broadband plans are all the rage these days, with the world going online, everyone needs the internet to get things done.
What is Yes Super 158 Postpaid plan about?
Yes Super 158 Postpaid plan gives you the best of both world of LTE and broadband coverage via a total data of 46GB for only RM158 for a monthly commitment. The breakdown is simple, you are getting 32GB-worth of 4G LTE with the remaining 14GB is 4G Broadband.
If you are an avid gamer or weekend binge-watcher, this is the ultimate plan for your high-definition graphic appetite. When you sign up for the plan, you will have the option of either the Huddle XS or Zoom modem at zero costs, not even the hidden ones.
Whichever device you pick is completely free of charge. This way you have access to both of the Yes data networks and accommodate data sharing with up to 10 devices. So all of your friends and family can stay connected too.
Can I use my own modem?
Sure you can, at least with your own modem, you get to reduce your carbon footprint and get out of a sticky contract. But then again, you wouldn’t want to go out and buy a new device when you get to have one for free, from Yes.
How to pay for my monthly bill?
There are many ways to do so at your convenient: online banking or cheque and cash payment over-the-counter. But, if you opted for an auto billing service with locally issued credit cards, you are entitled to a RM5 rebate for every billing transaction.
What are the fees and charges I should be mindful of?
Good question. For all Yes 4G postpaid plans with high-speed internet, there is an Advance Payment of one (1) month commitment fee that is chargeable to you. You will get your money back, of course, by way of 50% rebate, which will be credited into your first and second billing cycles.
For plan that is bundled with devices (Huddle XS or Zoom modem), you are subject to an Activation Fee of RM100 and will be binding to a 24-month contract with Yes. Non-Malaysians interested in signing up must deposit extra RM100, which is refundable upon contract expiration.
Now, if you want to change your mind by terminating the plan while still within the contract period, you are subject to pay off the commitment fee for the remaining months left.
What about coverage?
Yes networks have a pretty good range of coverage across Malaysia, and if you have a broadband device then you shouldn’t have an issue with coverage. However if you would like to double confirm, check out the Yes coverage map, and see if you’re on it.
