What are the penalties if I cancel my contract early?
The U Mobile iPlan comes with a 2 year contract – that means you’re expected to maintain your U Mobile service and pay all your bills in that period. In case you decide to terminate the contract, whatever you reasons are, be warned that you will be required to pay an early termination fees.
This fee will be calculated by U Mobile based on the total amount owed to them over your 2 year contract period. The remaining days left on your contract will then be added up, and the total amount that is left will be charged to your account.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my iPlan?
Under any circumstances, U Mobile will not allow you to downgrade your smartphone postpaid plan once you’ve already entered your first billing month. For the occasional data top up extra bundle of SMS in case you run out of quota, you can always get a top up using the U Mobile phone app.
