Why should I get AXA Affin Smart PA?
To provide for a financial blanket for yourself and your family when you are met with an unfortunate accident that might leave your financially wiped.
This personal accident insurance will provide compensation in a form of a lump sum benefit (cash assistance, if you will) to you and/or your family if the insured suffers from injury, disability or perished in an accident due to car crash, food poisoning, criminal acts and civil unrest, among others.
What does my personal accident policy cover?
You will receive a total payout under death, permanent/temporary disablement and medical expenses benefits with 3x sum insured with double payout of up to RM4,500,000 if you extend the protection to your family.
What’s more, AXA Affin will also reimburse you under medical expenses, dental and corrective surgery due to accident, repatriation, personal liability, snatch theft or robbery case and funeral expenses. On top of that you will receive cash allowance for hospitalization.
How much premium and fees and charges do I have to pay?
Before you make any payments, make sure you set your priority right to avoid over or under insured situation. For example, if you are a fresh graduate just starting a job, you can allocate RM50/week to get insured under Plan 1 (Self Only).
Then you need to scan your total quote to notice whether it is inclusive of a commission fee of 25% to the insurance agent in addition to stamp duty of RM10 and GST of 6%. Either way, these fees and charges are part of the plan.
What is a loan protector?
It is another extra benefit you’ll get under this PA insurance whereby AXA Affin will reimburse up to RM7,500 for any of the insured person’s outstanding debts: credit cards, personal loans, overdraft, housing, car, education and renovation loans, with any licensed banks in Malaysia.
Can I cancel my policy?
Your PA insurance policy can be cancelled at any time by writing a notice to AXA Affin, which then will reimburse your premium based on a pro rata portion of the remaining months.
