Do I need personal accident insurance?
Life can be unpredictable; before you know it, all your years of hard work go down the drain if an accident happens to you, leaving your family with little to no resources to live on.
Having a personal accident policy, especially The Gladiator Enhanced by Generali, can help lighten the financial burden your family might have to deal with during tough times.
What can I get from Generali The Gladiator Enhanced?
This personal accident insurance offers unique benefits with a higher coverage limit. In the event of death and permanent disablement due to an accident, you will be paid with lump sum benefits, which will be doubled when an accident occurs while using public transportation.
You will also be covered for medical expenses, dental and cosmetic surgery due to accident, personal liability and kidnap. On top of that, you will receive cash allowances for hospitalization, funeral expenses and other financial obligations such as car or housing loans.
Do I get a discount for renewal?
You will receive an increment in the sum insured by 10% and up to 100% every renewal year, provided that there is no claim lodged under accidental death and permanent disablement made during the coverage period.
How much premium do I have to pay?
Depending on the types of plans you choose with a sum insured ranging from RM50,000 to RM1 million, your premium payment, inclusive of 25% agent commission, 8% GST and RM10 Stamp Duty, is chargeable annually.
What else do I need to know about this PA insurance?
This is a cash-before-cover policy, meaning a full premium must be paid before the policy can become effective. Also, you must nominate a nominee for this personal accident plan.
Can I cancel the policy after purchasing it?
Generali requires a written notice from you before you can make any cancellations. Bear in mind that you will not get any refund of premium for the period beyond the date of termination.
The benefit(s) payable under eligible product is protected by PIDM up to limits. Please refer to PIDM's TIPS Brochure or contact Generali Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad or PIDM (visit www.pidm.gov.my).
