Your personal accident claim is valid for unfortunate event of death or injury that is caused by an accident.

Here's a few simple steps to file a claim.

First of all, notify MSIG at 603-7841 5620 immediately for any eligible claims.

To speed up your claims, the very next step is to complete and submit the claim form to MSIG and enclose with the medical report and original medical bills and receipts.

For fatal cases, here's the requested documents.

  • Copy of police report
  • Copy of post-mortem report
  • Burial certificate
  • Letter of administration

Who is this personal accident policy intended for?

This personal accident insurance policy is designed for senior citizens aged between 55 to 75 years, Malaysians or Permanent Residents, retired and not engaged in non-manual occupations.

What are the benefits can I get from MSIG Senior Citizen Personal Accident Insurance?

You will get seven complimentary benefits at a very low premium from 21 Malaysian cents per day up to 95 Malaysian cents. Plus, when you enroll your spouse together, a 15% discount will be deducted on premiums for both insured and spouse!

The coverage includes Accidental Death and/or Permanent Disablement, Convalescence Allowance, Hospital Income, Nursing Care, Medical Expenses, Personal Liability and Funeral, Cremation and Repatriation Expenses.

What else do I need to know about this PA insurance?

This is a cash-before-cover policy, meaning a full premium must be paid before the policy can become effective. Also, you must nominate a nominee for this personal accident plan.

To avoid misunderstanding, you can also request MSIG to view the actual insurance policy before you sign up.

What are the procedures to cancel my policy?

MSIG requires a written notice from you before you can make any cancellation. You will get a refund of premium, which is based on pro-rata basis and depending on how long the cover has been in force.

MSIG also has the right to retain a minimum premium amount of RM60 (exclusive of GST), whether or not any claims had been made.
