What is the Individual PA Partner?
This here is a personal accident insurance policy offered by Tokio Marine for all the individuals out there, who are looking for a plan solely for themselves. Let’s face it, family and loved one’s are great, but not everyone has them and, there are some who need to look out for themselves. The policy comes with comprehensive coverage, 5 plans to choose from and affordable premiums to suit any bachelor or bachelorettes needs.
How much does it cover?
Like other personal accident plans, the Tokio Marine Individual PA Partner covers both accidental death and permanent disablement, as well as medical expenses for both mainstream and traditional treatment. You will of course also have coverage for miscellaneous benefits such as ambulance fees and hospital income.
With this plan as well, you will have coverage for repatriation, a rehabilitation allowance for extensive injuries that might cause temporary or partial disability, bereavement allowance and travel allowance for the family that is too far away from visiting you. Another thing you will have coverage for is double indemnity and personal liability, in certain instances.
Is there a renewal bonus?
Fortunately, there is. Every year that no claims are made and the policy is renewed, you will have a 5% increase in the sum assured for death and permanent disablement. The amount will steadily increase to a maximum increase of 25%.
What about the premiums?
Since this policy comes with 5 plans for you to choose from, you will have varying choices for range of coverage as well as the financial constraints of a premium. As mentioned, the premiums for this policy are both affordable and reasonable as well as calculated on an annual basis. You can also choose to omit the personal liability cover from your plan, as it is an optional cover, to further knock down the premium rates.
Who can apply?
The plan is open to anyone over the legal age of 18 or 16 if your parents are picking it up for you. It is an individual coverage plan so spouses and children cannot be included in the plan. Maximum entry age for this plan is 65 years old.
