One of its financial products, KOBETA Cash-i, is a Shariah compliant personal financing which opens to all permanent government servants in Malaysia.

How does KOBETA Cash-i personal financing work?

Pretty straightforward as with most personal loans in the market, except with much less strict lending requirements as compared to ones from the mainstream lenders.

You can borrow any amount between RM2,000 to a maximum of RM250,000 from KOBETA Cash-i personal financing, with repayment period from 2, up to 10 years. The profit rate chargeable on this personal financing is 4.99% p.a. flat and fixed throughout the tenure.

This personal financing monthly instalment can be repaid via Biro Perkhidmatan Angkasa deduction, on a condition that it should not be more than 60%.

To apply, you need to meet the minimum requirements and conditions as set out by KOBETA. But most importantly, you should always assess your capability to borrow and repay the facility before applying.

Is KOBETA Cash-i personal financing offered only to civil servants?

Yes it is. A good news for our fellows in the Government sector. Lets go through the checklist below to find out whether you are eligible to apply for this personal financing:

  • Must be aged between 21 to 59 years;
  • Must be a permanent Government staff with employment of more than 6 months; AND
  • Must earn a minimum monthly income of RM1,500.

If all of the requirements fit the shoe, then you are one foot away to finance your dreams, expenses and what-have-yous.

Am I qualified to apply for KOBETA Cash-i if I have poor CTOS / CCRIS report?

KOBETA may consider those qualified applicants with a small hiccup in their lending profiles. However, you will not enjoy the same benefit of higher financing limit like everyone else from KOBETA Cash-i. The maximum amount you can borrow is up to RM20,000.

Any other benefits I can get from KOBETA Cash-i personal financing?

You would be happy to know that you don't have to standby a guarantor when applying for KOBETA Cash-i. To top it off, this personal financing charges a low and flat profit rate, even without a guarantor requirement.

That's not all, if you feel like settling your KOBETA Cash-i before the end of your financing tenure, you will receive a rebate for early settlement.
