What benefits can I get from this savings account?

CIMB has come up with two option to let you enjoy their banking services at minimal cost for the Islamic Basic Savings Account-i:

  • Option 1: No annual fee for this account but you can only enjoy the first 6 over the counter visits and 8 ATM cash withdrawals transactions for free.
  • Option 2: You need to pay for the annual fee but you are entitled to enjoy free unlimited over the counter transactions and free unlimited ATM cash withdrawals transactions.

What are the requirements to open this account?

For Malaysian citizens, you need to bring your identification card and a copy of utility bill for verification purposes. 

But if you are foreigner, you will need a passport and supporting document such as a copy of your utility bill.
