What are the requirements?
It's pretty easy for new account registration. All you need is a minimum initial deposit of RM250 for a statement savings account.
Documents needed are an Identification Card or passport, as well as a copy of the utility bill for address verification.
Are there any fees and charges?
Once the debit card is issued to you, please note that there will be an annual fee of RM15.
If you would like to replace your ATM/debit card, the bank will charge RM12 from your account, while the passbook replacement will be at the cost of RM20 (this only applies to existing account holders with a passbook, those applied on and after 23 October 2017, a passbook was no longer being offered).
Even if the statement is given complimentary every month or quarter, an additional statement request will cost you RM10 per request.
