In order to track your previous banking transactions, the passbook and statement will be issued to you. Of course, to view your account instantly, you are free to view your e-statement through Internet Banking.
Apart from that, you can pay bills with your savings account! You can arrange your regular payment through the standing instruction service with the bank.
And so, the due date is no longer your trouble. Besides that, you can also pay your utility bills through Hong Leong Connect, Hong Leong Phone Banking and Hong Leong ATMs.
Is this account easy to open?
Yes, it is an easy opening account indeed. As long as you are 18 years and above, you can treat this as your personal account either on an individual or a joint basis.
This is not only an individual account, but it is applicable to clubs, societies and associations too.
Since this is an easy opening account, no introducer is required, but you will need an initial deposit of RM200 to open this account.
Are there any fees and charges I need to be aware of?
Although there is no ATM card annual fee, if you wish to enjoy the convenience of debit card brings to you, you are required to pay a fee of RM8 for either conversion or upgrade.
For the card replacement, you need to pay RM12 for whatever reason it is. The same applies to passbook replacement; you are required to pay a charge of RM20.
