Any Malaysian under the age of 18 can apply for this account. For applicants under 12, the account can be either a joint account or an individual account. ATM Cards are available for account holders over 12 years of age, so as to have easy access to their savings.

How much do I need to deposit to open this account?

All you need is an initial deposit of RM10.

Do I need to maintain a minimum balance?

Yes, you will need to maintain a minimum of RM20 in your account at any time to avoid any penalty or charges. We are pretty sure that you can manage to save at least RM20, aren't you?
