Region 1 - Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, China (exc. Tibet & Mongolia (Inner & Outer)), Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macau, Maldives, Myanmar, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam.
Region 2 - European countries + Region 1
Region 3 - Worldwide (excluding Cuba, Iran, Syria, North Korea or the Crimea region)
The premium and coverage listed in the table above are for Region 1 and Region 3.
I Travel Frequently, Is There a Maximum Trip Period?
Yes, this travel insurance has a maximum trip period. Please read the information below carefully before you purchase AIG Travel Guard Standard.
- Annual Trip Plan - each trip must not be exceeding 100 consecutive days
- Per Trip Plan - each trip must not be exceeding 180 consecutive days
Can I Cancel My Travel Insurance Policy?
Yes, you can. For Per Trip Plan cancellation, you must request for cancellation before you embark for the trip or the commencement of the insurance period.
AIG will refund the premium to you provided no claim has been submitted by you before or after the policy expiry date.
For Annual Trip Pan cancellation, you have to send a written notice to AIG.
The cancellation will take effect from the 1st day of the calendar month and your premium will be refunded provided no claim has been submitted by you before or after the policy expiry date.
