How do I make a claim?
Fortunately. it’s not too tedious a chore. If you were to find yourself in a sticky situation, remember that you need to hold on to any receipts and bills you may receive while paying for emergency medical care, for example.
You will need to lodge a formal report to which over relevant organization that applies to the situation you are in. If you had lost your luggage or missed a flight connection, then lodge a report with the airlines and keep a few copies of that report. If it was an accident, a police report is required.
Then have your legal representative hand in a written notice to Chubb as so as possible or within 30 days of the event that prompted the claim occurred. Download and fill in the claim form for your claims to be processed.
Can I cancel my policy?
Sure, you can, however, you will need to submit a written notice to Chubb Insurance Malaysia Berhad. Your cancellation notice must be submitted at least 30 days prior to cancellation. For Single Trip plan cancellations, please note that no refund of premiums paid will be issued.
In the case of annual plan cancellations, if no claims are made during the policy term, a short rate refund might apply depending on the plan you choose. Therefore, remember to confirm all policy details with your insurance agent.
