What is the Chubb Executive?
In short, the Chubb Executive is a comprehensive travel insurance plan that works in your favor. Regardless of whether you are travelling around the world or taking a trip back home for your parent’s anniversary this insurance has got you covered in any situation.
How much does it cover?
It covers everything from your medical expenses if you were in an accident to the delay of your luggage from the plane. Hospital charges, transportation, child care, medical evacuation and personal liability are some of the things that this insurance takes care of.
Besides that, travel inconveniences like missed flight connections, loss or delay of luggage, and travel delays are just some of the instances that you can claim for. Imagine being on holiday without your luggage, you will need to spend a whole lot of money just for the essentials.

Am I eligible for the policy?
If you are anywhere between 18 and 70 then you are definitely eligible for this policy. Choose to either pay as you travel or if you are a wanderlust at heart, go for the annual plan to have that assurance of security every time you get on a plane.
For those of you who would like to include your children under the protection of this policy, they need to be over 30 days old up till the age of 18. If however your kids are still at university or studying, then they have the age of 23 years to be eligible under your umbrella.
How do I make a claim?
Fortunately. it’s not too tedious a chore. If you were to find yourself in a sticky situation, remember that you need to hold on to any receipts and bills you may receive while paying for emergency medical care, for example.
You will need to lodge a formal report to which over relevant organization that applies to the situation you are in. If you had lost your luggage or missed a flight connection, then lodge a report with the airlines and keep a few copies of that report. If it was an accident, a police report is required.
It is also required that you have a written statement of your own detailing your account of said incident. Call Chubb at their emergency hotline to find out where to deliver all your documents, along with a claim form.
You will need to submit your claim at the most 30 days after the incident, or it will be void.
Can I cancel my policy?
Sure, you can, however, you will need to submit a written notice to Chubb Insurance Malaysia Berhad. Your cancellation notice must be submitted at least 30 days prior to cancellation. There is however no guarantee that you will be reimbursed for premiums paid.
