What is the Chubb First all about?
It is a comprehensive travel insurance policy that provides compensation in the certain circumstances as described in the policy during your travel within the period of insurance.
How much does it cover?
Chubb covers most major inconveniences and medical related needs that a traveller might need.
The table above and of course the Product Disclosure Sheet will provide more detail as to the amount of coverage and specifics relating to all coverage benefits.
How do the premiums work?
Premium rates for this plan will follow the tables provided. However, premium rates for Worldwide travel will vary slightly depending on where you are headed.
Chubb breaks down its travel zones into 4 parts:
Domestic
Zone 1: Asia and South East Asia, excluding Tibet, Cuba and Mongolia (Inner and Outer)
Zone 2: All European countries, including countries in Zone 1. Excluding US, Canada, Middle East, Nepal, Tibet, Mongolia and Cuba
Zone 3: All countries, excluding Cuba
How do I make a claim?
On the happening of any occurrence likely to give rise to a claim under this Policy, You or Your legal representative must give us written notice as soon as possible and, in any event, within 30 days after the date of occurrence.

Eligibility for this Policy?
This policy is open to anyone over the age of 18 if you are Malaysian or a Permanent Resident of Malaysia.
It is also open to any holder of a valid Malaysian Work Permit, Employment Pass, Dependent Pass, Long-Term Social Visit Pass, or a valid Student Visa holder.
If you wish to insure not just yourself but your spouse as well, then they too must meet the same conditions as mentioned above.
Finally, any child you would like to cover under the policy must be more than 30 days old and not more than 18 years old.
If your child is pursuing a recognized tertiary education then they can be covered up to the maximum age of 23.
Can I cancel my policy?
For Single Trip cancellations: You may cancel your policy by giving written notice to Chubb.
However there is no refund of premium once policy issued.
For Annual Plan cancellations: The Policyholder may cancel this Policy at any time by giving notice to Chubb provided no claim has arisen during the current Period of Insurance.
In the event of such cancellation, a short rate refund applies.
