What is Etiqa TripCare 360 Takaful Silver?
This is a takaful protection plan offered by Etiqa to ensure you are well protected financially, while you explore the world.
Etiqa TripCare 360 Takaful Silver gives you medical and travel inconvenience protection with affordable premiums, so you can keep your travel cost to a minimum.
Who is Eligible for This Travel Insurance?
You will need to be at least 18 years old to purchase this plan individually.
However, children below that age can be covered with TripCare 360 Takaful Silver when registered under family plans.
Your child will need to be a minimum of 45 days old to be eligible for coverage under the family plan.
In the case of senior citizens, there is a dedicated plan enabled for those of you between the age of 71 and 80 years old.
If you are below the age of 71, then you would still qualify for the individual plan.
What Am I Covered For?
Of course with this plan, you will have medical coverage and follow-up treatments that you might require when you get back home to Malaysia.
You will also have a daily hospital income benefit for any hospitalisation that is required while you are overseas and a couple of other benefits to ensure you have minimal expenditure when you are being treated while on a vacation.

Protection from this travel insurance plan extends to the loss or damage of your luggage or personal effects, personal liability and emergency services, such as evacuations and repatriation of remains.
How Do I Submit a Claim to Etiqa?
You will first need to download the claim form and fill in the relevant sections.
Together with the form, bring along all relevant documents to support your claims such as reports, valuation, medical reports and so on.

Please take note that claims can only be made within 30 days of the event.
Otherwise, Etiqa holds the right to reject your claims! It is crucial that you keep all original receipts and claims form for your own records.
