Who is eligible to apply for the Maxis Travel Insurance Multiple Trip?
This policy offers two traveler plans - single or spouse plan. Whether you travel alone or with a partner, you need to be at least 18 years of age or below 80 to qualify for this application. Also, you need to be a Maxis and/or hotlink mobile customer.
As for postpaid users, you need to be an existing customer with Maxis for at least 6 months as a principal user to sign up for this plan.
How do you apply for this travel protection plan?
It's a piece of a cake! To apply for this insurance policy, all you need to do is send them an SMS and an account will be automatically set up for you. Your coverage starts on the day you receive the policy confirmation via SMS. Once you are done with that, you are good to go!

Can I apply after my trip has already begun?
No. You will receive coverage the day you receive a confirmation via sms before your journey commences. The Maxis Travel Insurance Multiple Trip protects you the minute you depart from your home in Malaysia until the day you return to safely home.
How do I pay for my premium?
All you need to do is just sit down and relax. Maxis makes it convenient for you by automatically deducting premium payments on a monthly basis from your prepaid Hotlink account or have you sort it out on your next postpaid bill.
You will also receive notification once your payment is approved.
How do I make a claim?
Within 45 days of any accident, losses, injury or damages, you need to write a letter together with any supporting documents, letters, or summons to AXA Affin, the underwriter for this insurance policy.
Also, bring along passport photocopy - either yours, your spouse's and/or other family member's passport 30 days before and after your travel date.
