Who is eligible to apply for Maxis Travel Insurance Single Trip?
To apply for this insurance, you need to be registered as a principal Maxis user for at least 6 months. You must fall between the age of 18 to 70 years old to apply for this Maxis Insurance Single Trip Plan. Whether you are travelling alone, with a partner, or family, Maxis Travel Insurance Single trip has just the right solution for you. It comes with 3 plans: individual, spouses and family with premiums price quoted at RM 14, RM 24 and RM 35. Premium paid covers up to a maximum of 7 consecutive days of travel.
How do you apply?
It is terribly easy to apply for this travel insurance policy. To make it better, there is no need for medical examination or health question. All you need to do is to create an account with just an sms. Once you have received confirmation via sms, your coverage will automatically start on the very same day.

Can I apply after my trip has already begun?
No, unfortunately you will only be issued protection if you apply before starting your journey. This is because the Maxis Travel Insurance plan is meant to provide coverage from the time you leave your home in Malaysia, until you return safely home from your trip.
How do I pay for my premium?
Whether you are an existing Hotlink prepaid Airtime or Maxis postpaid, Maxis has set in place an easy payment method. Your premium will be deducted from your account if you are a prepaid user. All you need to do is to make sure that there is sufficient credit in your account to successfully process your payment. For postpaid users, you can sit back and relax as you can sort out your premium payment when you get your next bill.
How do I make a claim?
In the event of any accident, losses, injury or damages, you need to write a letter together with any supportive document, letter, or summons to AXA Affin. Keep in mind that you have to make your claim within 45 days after the occurence. You will need to bring along a photocopy of you, your spouse or family's passport for 30 days before and after your travel date.
