Who is eligible to apply?
While anyone is eligible to apply for Maybank Lifestyle Travel Care Silver, your benefits and premiums will depend on your current age. To qualify for adult coverage, you need to be between the ages of 18 and 70 years.
Senior citizen coverage is available for individuals between 71 and 80 years old, while children between 45 days and 23 years old can be covered under child insurance.
Can I include protection for my family?
Yes, you can opt to get family coverage, depending on who is traveling with you. If you're traveling with your spouse, you may purchase the couple plan which offers lower premiums.
Otherwise you’ll have to subscribe to the family plan, if you’re travelling with your spouse and children.
When should I get the annual plan?
The annual plan is an ideal choice for the frequent traveller. Imagine having to reapply for your Maybank Lifestyle Travel Care Silver every time you want to travel - it's less painful and less expensive with a one-time annual plan!
How do I make my premium payments?
There are a number of ways for you to pay your travel insurance premiums. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, credit card, or direct transfers from a Maybank account. If you're making payments via cheque, make sure that your cheque is cleared before the due date.
If I change my mind, can I cancel my travel insurance?
You can cancel this travel insurance for yourself, or any of the insured persons at any time. To do this, you’ll have to write a notice to Maybank. Your policy will be terminated on the day that the notice is received, unless you've specified a later date.
