What is the Travel For More Domestic?
This is a travel insurance plan issued and underwritten by the Overseas Assurance Corporation (Malaysia) Berhad. It’s is one, out of a three-part plan offered by OAC, meant only for Malaysians travelling Domestic.

How much does it cover?
Essentially it does cover accidental death and disability, but at the same time it looks after your medical expenses as well should you need medical assistance when you are on holiday. However, it is first and foremost a travel insurance plan therefore it mostly covers travel inconveniences that you might come across.
So in the case you experience a luggage delay at the airport, or have lost your luggage and personal effects. Simply make a report and submit a claim form with the necessary documents to reclaim some of the expenses that you might have incurred replacing those items.

How do I make a claim?
In the event that you need to make a claim, you will need to contact OAC’s hotline at 1 300 13 1088 or email [email protected] immediately. You can easily download their claims form on the OAC site and acquire a document checklist.
In any case, you will need to have made some sort of report, police, hospital, airlines; so remember to keep the original copies of all these reports. You will also need to meticulously compile receipts, invoices and bank or credit card statements that share proof of payment and verify the dates of the incident in question.

Who can apply for this?
The great thing about this insurance plan is that it is meant to be for the whole family. So you can pick it up as an individual when you are over the age of 18, or maybe even pick it up as a couple.
Yes the plan works for families as well. Just remember that you can include your children under the umbrella of this plan only if they are above 3 months old. The plan continues to cover them until the age of 18 or maximum age of 23 years as long as they are still studying.
