    What's special about RHB Travel Protector Plus Advance?

    This is a personal accident plan that provides compensation for accidental death, bodily injury or illness and travel inconveniences during your trip. This product is available for domestic (only for East Malaysia to West Malaysia and vice versa) and overseas traveling. This product can be purchased by an Individual, Individual and spouse, and also by an individual for his or her family.

    RHB's Travel Protector Plus Advance is the sweet spot between the Domestic and Supreme plan, providing you with additional benefits such as reimbursement for loss of personal money and travel documents not available with the RHB Travel Protector Plus Domestic.

    Who is eligible for this travel insurance policy?

    This product is available for children aged between 15 days up to 19 years old. Children coverage can be extended up to the age of 23 if they are still studying, unmarried and unemployed. For adult coverage, you must be at least 19 to 80 years at the time of application for RHB Travel Protector Plus Advance.

    What are the coverage zones?

    The Advance Plan covers 3 Regions as classified by RHB Insurance. The following table explains how the Regions for Domestic, Asia, and Worldwide are broken up; Premium rates for this plan is also based on the selected Region of travel.

    How do I submit a claim to RHB Insurance?

    There are a few steps to follow to make a successful insurance claim:

    • Notify an RHB Insurance Berhad officer as soon as possible. They can be reached via telephone, but it is advised to follow up with a written statement.
    • Collect all information and documents to support your claims such as invoices, bills, and payment vouchers.
    • Send all supporting documents together with your completed claim form.

    Can I cancel my policy can claim a refund?

    As the policyholder, you can cancel your policy anytime by providing the company written notice. Your cancellation will become effective on the date RHB Insurance Berhad receives your notice or the date specified in the written notice, whichever is earlier. But most important of all, there will be no premium refund once you cancel your cover.

    What are the major exclusions of this travel insurance?

    Below are the major exceptions that everyone should know:

    a. Suicide or attempted suicide, self-inflicted injuries, self-destruction or any attempt thereat while sane or insane.

    b. While participating in any professional sports;

    c. While committing or attempting to commit any unlawful act;

    d. Childbirth, miscarriage, pregnancy or any complications thereof

    e. Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome ( AIDS) or AIDS-Related Complex (ARC) however this syndrome has been acquired or may be named
