What's special about RHB Travel Protector Plus Advance?
This is a personal accident plan that provides compensation for accidental death, bodily injury or illness and travel inconveniences during your trip. This product is available for domestic (only for East Malaysia to West Malaysia and vice versa) and overseas traveling. This product can be purchased by an Individual, Individual and spouse, and also by an individual for his or her family.
RHB's Travel Protector Plus Advance is the sweet spot between the Domestic and Supreme plan, providing you with additional benefits such as reimbursement for loss of personal money and travel documents not available with the RHB Travel Protector Plus Domestic.
Who is eligible for this insurance policy?
This product is available for children aged between 15 days up to 19 years old. Children coverage can extended up to age of 23 if they are still studying, unmarried and unemployed. For adult coverage, you must be at least 19 to 80 years at the time of application for RHB Travel Protector Plus Advance.
How do I submit a claim?
There are a few steps to follow to make a successful insurance claim:
- Notify a RHB Insurance Berhad officer as soon as possible. They can be reached via telephone, but it is advised to follow up with a written statement.
- Collect all information and documents to support your claim such as invoices, bills, and payment vouchers.
- Send all supporting documents together with your completed claim form.
Can I cancel my policy can claim a refund?
As the policyholder, you can cancel your policy anytime by providing the company a written notice. Your cancellation will become effective on the date RHB Insurance Berhad receives your notice, or the date specified in the written notice, whichever is earlier. But most important of all, there will be no premium refund once you cancel your cover.
What are the major exclusions?
Below are the major exceptions that everyone should know:
a. Suicide or attempted suicide, self-inflicted injuries, self destruction or any attempt thereat while sane or insane.
b. While participating in any professional sports;
c. While committing or attempting to commit any unlawful act;
d. Childbirth, miscarriage, pregnancy or any complications thereof
e. Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome ( AIDS) or AIDS Related Complex (ARC) however this syndrome has been acquired or may be named
