What is the age limit for the Tune Insure AirAsia One-Way Travel Protection?
The insured can be as young as 9 days old but no older than 75 years of age to be eligible for the Tune Insure AirAsia One-Way Travel Protection. Even if you are not Malaysian, you can enrol for this insurance policy as long as you have bought a ticket from AirAsia for flights departing from any cities within Malaysia.
How do I make a claim?
You can download the claim form here. Once completed, you can fax and mail the form and supporting documents such as receipts or police reports to the number and address as stated in the form. You are allowed to submit up to 3 claim.
Can I cancel my Tune Insure AirAsia Travel protection?
Unfortunately, you are not allowed to cancel Tune Insure AirAsia One-Way Travel Protection. Also, this policy is non-refundable.
Do I need to carry around any documents as proof while abroad?
That is not necessary - your purchase confirmation is printed at the bottom of your AirAsia Itinerary. Take a look for yourself!
Can I claim for any medical treatment for illness or injury while on my trip?
While you can claim for medical expenses, it is limited to only personal injury. Any medical treatment caused by sickness cannot be claimed with the Tune Insure AirAsia One-Way Travel Protection.
Can my policy still be valid if I have bought a return ticket?
No, your Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection plan is based on your AirAsia Travel Itinerary. If you've purchased a return ticket, you can apply for the Tune Insure AirAsia Return Travel Protection.
How do I purchase Tune Insure AirAsia Travel Protection for my baby?
If you purchase Tune Insure AirAsia One-Way Travel Protection, your accompanying infant aged from 9 days to 2 years is covered for any personal accident for up to 10% of sum insured. The name of the infant is required once it is acknowledged that an infant is on board with you.
