About You
RinggitPlus is Malaysia's leading financial comparison marketplace, helping Malaysians make smarter decisions about credit cards, personal loans, and insurance. We're a profitable fintech with serious marketing budgets and ambitious growth plans.
We need a Content and Creative Lead who can transform how we talk to Malaysians about money. Someone who understands that creative work exists to deliver business results, and knows how to make that happen.
What You'll Do
Lead content strategy across all our channels and products. You'll figure out what to say to Malaysians about financial products and how to say it in ways that actually resonate. Develop messaging frameworks that work across platforms - from 15-second TikTok videos to long-form articles.
Transform our social media and video capability. You'll build video content that performs, establish a social media presence that engages, and finally make these channels deliver.
Manage three team leads who oversee 13 people creating content in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and sometimes Chinese across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, and our owned properties. Coach them to raise their game. Build creative confidence. Set standards.
Drive our agency pitch success. Lead creative ideation and presentations.
Set creative direction and enforce quality standards across all channels and languages. Review work, provide feedback, and art direct key campaigns. Show the team what good looks like.
What You Have
Fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia, written and spoken. You'll be creating and reviewing content in both languages daily. This is not negotiable.
Experience developing content strategies that work across multiple channels and deliver measurable business results. You can create frameworks that guide teams to produce dozens of pieces of content that all tell a coherent story.
Deep understanding of social media and video content. You know what makes Malaysians stop scrolling, engage, and take action on Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. You understand video production from concept to distribution.
Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads Manager. You don't need to be a media buyer, but you need to understand what works on each platform and why.
Comfortable with data and analytics. You can read Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite to understand performance and make better creative decisions.
Proficiency with AI creativity tools - Gemini, Claude, Midjourney, Runway, or similar. You're comfortable using AI for ideation, production, and analysis.

You understand the Malaysian mindset and culture deeply. You know how Malaysians think about money, what keeps them up at night financially, what their aspirations are, and how to talk to them about complex financial topics in ways that resonate.
You're comfortable in a performance-driven environment. We measure everything. CTR, conversion rates, cost per acquisition, engagement rates. If you think metrics are the enemy of creativity, this isn't the place for you.
You can lead experienced team members without micromanaging. You coach and develop people by challenging their thinking, not telling them exactly what to do.
You know when to fight for creative decisions and when to compromise. You can present concepts confidently, defend what matters, and let go of what doesn't.
You're detailed and care about getting things exactly right. The difference between good creative and great creative is in the details.
