About You
RinggitPlus has transformed the way Malaysians research, choose, and use Banking products in Malaysia, becoming the first destination for consumers who demand fair and equitable access to credit. We’re looking for a dedicated Head of Credit Cards to own and run one of our key product lines. This is a new role created by growth.
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you’ll drive RinggitPlus’ Credit Card business, and be instrumental in establishing new product verticals, such as Digital Savings and Wealth Management. Not to put too fine a point on it - you’ll own the biggest business line within the largest financial aggregator in Malaysia.
More importantly, you’ll join us in our decades-long mission to disrupt Malaysia’s Financial Services Industry, putting customers first, removing bureaucracy, and ensuring that everyone gets more for their money.
Your Day-To-Day
- Set and own the short-term KPIs, define and achieve long-term strategic objectives for the RinggitPlus’ Banking business.
- Drive and manage the financial performance of the Credit Card channels. Identify areas for growth and investment and address the root causes of problems.
- Report on both product and financial performance of the Credit Card business to senior management.
- Influence and work with the Product Team to continuously iterate and optimise the service we provide consumers who research and apply at RinggitPlus.
- Influence and work with the Marketing Team to make sure we are marketing the correct products to the right audience.
- Influence and work with the Operations Team to ensure that customers of RinggitPlus have their needs met and receive the best customer service.
- Influence and work with the Business Development Team to sell our Products and Services, aligning Client goals with RinggitPlus goals.
- Manage the creation, development, launch and growth of new products and services for consumers and clients.
Your Know-How
- 5+ years of work experience, the majority of which should be in B2C products and services. Financial services (Banking/Insurance/eWallet/eCommerce) experience is an advantage but not required.
- Strong commercial sense with Product and/or Business Line ownership experience – you’ll need to know the unit economics at RinggitPlus on both the consumer (marketing) and industry (sales) sides and be mindful of our key partners' and clients’ objectives to find sustainable growth opportunities.
- Analytical approach - strong numerical aptitude, you’ll need to separate the signal from the noise when evaluating business performance.
- Business scaling - taking an idea for a product or service through development and launch, or an existing business and growing it 10x.
- Great team player and influencer without formal authority – you’ll work with every department within RinggitPlus to deliver our month-to-month business performance and long-term vision for the product.
- Outstanding project management, communication and teamwork skills.
- Strategic execution - you think several steps ahead in order to deliver real value to all stakeholders and share a clear vision for how you want to change the Banking industry.
