We’ve already reshaped how Malaysians discover and apply for credit. Now, we’re looking for a Senior Commercial person to take full ownership of our two most critical product lines, Credit Cards and Personal Loans to help define the next phase of growth.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will lead the combined Credit Card and Personal Loan businesses with full P&L ownership across the largest verticals in Malaysia’s leading financial aggregator.

As the senior commercial partner to major banks nationwide, you’ll shape strategies that influence the products millions of Malaysians see, choose, and apply for every day. This role goes beyond numbers and negotiations, it’s about impact.

Too many people are denied credit not because they are high risk, but because the system doesn’t fully understand them. Banks often serve those who need credit least, while missing those who need it most. Financial inclusion is central to this role, and your decisions will help bridge that gap. What You’ll Own

• Own the full P&L for Credit Cards and Personal Loans, driving revenue growth, managing costs, and delivering sustainable bottom-line results.

• Lead and grow commercial partnerships with bank partners by building relationships, pitching value propositions, negotiating terms, and closing deals.

• Run quarterly business reviews and secure long-term commercial agreements that create mutual value.

• Set the strategic direction for both verticals by developing business plans, identifying growth opportunities, and addressing underperformance.

• Partner closely with the Sales team to convert pipeline into signed agreements; support Sales Hunters in client meetings and steer discussions towards commercial outcomes.

• Drive adoption of Partnership Lending and RinggitPlus Score among bank partners, positioning our data and credit capabilities to reach underserved segments.

• Track, analyse, and report financial and commercial performance to senior management, with a deep command of the numbers.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Data teams to ensure commercial agreements are effectively executed.

• Work closely with the Commercial Manager (who leads B2C operations and campaign execution) to align supply-side partnerships with demand-side performance.

What We Need:

• 6+ years of experience with proven end-to-end P&L ownership, beyond cost control or deal-making.

• Strong B2B commercial background, comfortable negotiating and closing with VP and Director-level bank stakeholders in accountable for delivery post-deal.

• Sharp commercial judgment with a clear grasp of unit economics, from marketing spend and conversion rates to approvals and commissions.

• Experience in B2C products or services across the full lifecycle, from launch to growth; financial services experience is a plus, not a requirement.

• Highly analytical and data-driven, able to separate signal from noise and identify root causes.

• Strong influencing skills, delivering outcomes through cross-functional teams without direct authority.

• Builder mindset, with experience taking products or businesses from zero to one, or scaling from one to ten.

• Strategic yet hands-on, able to think several moves ahead while executing when needed.

• Ambition to change an industry, not just execute plans or hit KPIs.

Nice to have:

• Credit risk knowledge such as scorecards, NPLs, collections, CTOS, approval funnels.

• Existing relationships with Malaysian banks at decision-maker level.

• Experience with alternative credit scoring or partnership lending models.
