How do I sign up for CIMB PETRONAS Debit MasterCard?

To get your hand on this co-branded debit MasterCard, you need to open a CIMB PETRONAS Savers Account. The debit card issuance fee is RM18, so as its annual fee, which is chargeable from the second year onwards.

What do I get from this product?

With CIMB PETRONAS Debit MasterCard, you don’t have to carry a load of cash to pay for petrol – just produce the plastic card at the POS terminal.

Your PETRONAS co-branded debit card also comes with a contactless feature, meaning you can pay for goods and services by tapping or waving it at the contactless reader.

Plus, you can earn up to 2% cash rebate for every PETRONAS spend, whether on petrol or goods and other services at Mesra stores nationwide.

How will I receive my cash rebates?

To earn 2% cash rebate, you need to maintain a minimum balance of RM3,000 in your CIMB PETRONAS Savers Account every month. Nevertheless, you are entitled to 1% cash rebate if you have less than RM3,000 in your account.

Cash rebates are capped at RM20 and will be reflected in your CIMB PETRONAS Savers Account.

Do I get CIMB bonus points when spending with this debit card?

Unfortunately, you are not. You can only enjoy cash rebate on PETRONAS spend.
