Save money with cashback
Cashback, as the name suggested, is a feature whereby you can get a portion of your money back into your wallet (not literally, but by right) because you may want to save more on important purchases such as groceries, petrol and bill payments in your every day life.
Here's how RHB Smart Value MasterCard can help you get through the ever rising cost of goods and services with cashback of up to 5%:
|Spending Amount||Category||Cashback Rate||Monthly Cap|
|RM500 - RM1,500||Petrol, Groceries, Utilities, Online Transactions||1%||RM10|
|RM1,501 - RM2,500||Petrol, Groceries, Utilities, Online Transactions||2%||RM10|
|RM2,501 and above||Petrol, Groceries, Utilities, Online Transactions||5%||RM10|
|RM1 and above||Other Retail||0.2%||uncapped|
Now, the best part about this RHB Smart Value MasterCard is that when you spend a minimum of RM500 and above on each category, you can earn RM10 cashback every month, totaling a maximum cashback of RM40 for all categories combined.
That's not all, you can also collect unlimited cashback from swiping on other retail transactions at 0.2% cashback per Ringgit spent.
Flexible credit lifelines
Did you know that RHB Smart Value MasterCard comes ready with a minimum credit limit of RM4,000? Now you do. From this default amount, you can increase the credit limit according to your appetite up to RM300,000, depending on your income requirement.
This cashback credit card is also packed with a line of credits that is designed to help you stay afloat for a short to medium term. For instance, if you want to consolidate all of your outstanding credit cards at lower interest rate, RHB Smart Move Balance Transfer has got your back.
Or you can convert your retail purchases into affordable monthly instalments via RHB Dial-an-Instalment or RHB Smart Instalment. Last but not least, you can also borrow cash from your credit card through RHB CashXcess at low charges, with flexible repayment.
Complimentary Travel Insurance
Forgot to equip yourself with a travel insurance before boarding the flight? Don’t worry, just charge your airline booking tickets to your RHB Smart Value MasterCard to be automatically covered with a travel insurance coverage of up to RM100,000.
The coverage extends to your spouse and children, and the travel insurance policy is underwritten by RHB Insurance Berhad.
The signal icon formed by 4 white lines at the upper right corner of the card means that your RHB Smart Value Visa supports PayWave, Visa’s contactless payment technology that works just like MasterCard PayPass.
This allows you to pay instantly at a contactless point of sale with the PayWave symbol. The participating merchants include Tesco, Giant, Starbucks, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, MPH, Secret Recipe and many more.
When making a payment, just tell the cashier you would like to pay via contactless. The cashier will enter the payment amount which will be displayed on the PayWave reader. Then, just wave your card over the contactless symbol. No signature or PIN is required.
Who can apply?
Anybody aged 21 years old and above can apply for RHB and RHB Islamic Credit Cards. All you need to prepare is a valid identification card and other income and financial supporting documents as required by RHB.
